You may have heard about one particularly infamous party that was supposed to happen this weekend getting shut down, but there are plenty of great gigs going on tonite and tomorrow for those of you who want to shake off this week’s ridiculous macet with some good old fashioned drinkin’ and dancin’. Peking Duk

The acclaimed Australian EDM duo made up of Adam Hyde and Reuben Styles first hit the mainstream in 2012 and have since become a fixture of major festivals in the Land Down Under. Their latest single, “High,” reached #5 on the  Australian music sales charts, achieved platinum status.

“After Hours” feat. Kim Ann Foxman

Kim Ann Foxman stepped away from singing with New York’s neo-disco collective Hercules and Love Affair to return to her fundamental passions: rocking clubs as a DJ and producing raw electronic music. She should bring a very progressive vibe to Loewy’s for the first night of their new “After Hours” series of events.

Sunshine Jones

Sunshine Jones is a “house legend” in San Francisco and a founding member of Dubtribe Sound System. His lively DJ sets incorporate live mixing, singing, re editing on the fly, and he champions the idea that literally anything you can syncopate can be considered house music.

Peaches and Cream

It’s that Peaches and Cream time of the month again. This monthly hip hop and R&B party night is still one of the most successful in the city, drawing in thousands of revelers to the cavernous grounds of Potato Head Garage. They’ve gotten much stricter about overcrowding, so get there a bit early if you don’t want to be stuck waiting in line to get in.
