Anoraak
at The Goods Diner

French DJ Anoraak has been around since 2008 and has made quite a name for himself in the synth-pop, italo and indie-dance genres. After years and years behind the decks or as the frontman of a power trio, Anoraak is getting back to basics, spinning armed with only an MPC, a synthesizer and some controllers. His schizophrenic live self-remix rituals sheds a new light on his stripped to the bone pop songs, revealing new layers along the way.

Holi Color Festival

YouTube video

For those who want to get some color in their lives this weekend (besides pink) there’s the Holi Color Festival. An ancient Hindu spring rite celebrating love and joy, Holi has spread outside of India to other parts of Asia including Indonesia. The reason for its popularity is simple – Holi is essentially a massive water fight with bright colors mixed in, This event in Senayan aims to recreate the freeform fun of the Indian original, but the fact that there’s a cover charge is a bit of a downer (you also have to bring your own water gun). But still, the thought of participating in a giant water battle while DJs play in the background may be too much for some to resist. It’s also a very timely event, in that you don’t really have to worry that its going to get canceled because of the rain.
11am-  10:00pm. Tickets: Rp, 200k presale, Rp 275k on the spot. Parkir Timur Senayan Jakarta.https://www.facebook.com/holicolorindonesia/
