We now know exactly who the stars of “The Raid” are playing in the new Star Wars film (MAJOR SPOILERS!)

With just a few days until the release of “Star Wars: The Force Awakens”, geeks around the world are going crazy with anticipation, especially since director JJ Abrams and his team have done such a good job of keeping most of the film’s secrets unspoiled up till now. Indonesian fans have been particularly excited to find out who Iko Uwais, Yayan Ruhian and Cecep Arif Rahman – the stars of Indonesian action blockbusters “The Raid” and “The Raid 2” – would be playing in the newest film in the legendary sci-fi series, especially after Abrams declared the trio “amazing” in their roles.

Well, those fans need wonder no longer, as leaked pages from a book about the new Star Wars film reveal exactly who the trio are playing, with pictures of them in costume. Obviously these are MAJOR FILM SPOILERS so we warn you to close this story immediately and not scroll down any further if you want to walk into “The Force Awakens” without knowing anything in advance.

Seriously, we’re warning you!

Last chance, there be spoilers just below!

Alright, so here are Iko Uwais and Yayan Ruhian decked out in their complete Star Wars outfits. As you can see, they are not hidden under helmets or alien makeup and look very much like themselves (though Iko is sporting a sweet anime-style haircut).

It seems the Raid crew are members of the Kanjiklub, a group of space pirates who have a particular hatred for Han Solo (they also seem to have links to Han’s old enemy, Jabba the Hutt). If you want to get really super-duper spoiled, here’s a high-def version of these pages in which you can read all of the text including lots of cool details on their backstory, weapons and armor.

So while they’re not Jedi or Sith, it looks like they still play badass warriors and major villains in the movie. Interestingly, Yayan plays the leader of the group while Iko plays his second-in-command.

And just in case you were worried that the Indonesian action stars might be nothing but minor background characters, be comforted in the knowledge that they already have their own Lego actions figures, which is probably about the highest achievement any geek icon can earn these days.

Just… A…. Few… More… Days…Can’t… Wait…!
