Wave of Tomorrow
Wave of Tomorrow, the new media art exhibition, is back for its second edition this year. The exhibition combines art, technology, and music through interactive works and installations by artists and art collectives from Indonesia and abroad. There will be musical performances by London-based DJ HAAi and leading Indonesian indie acts such as Elephant Kind, Sal Priadi, Danilla, and Gabber Modus Operandi, as well as talks with artists throughout the event. The exhibition starts on Friday, Dec 20 (invitation only) until Sunday, Dec 29 at The Tribrata, Darmawangsa, South Jakarta. Tickets are IDR100,000 for daily pass and IDR500,000 for VIP pass (everyday entrance), available on KiosTix.
Spotify: Kilas Balik K-pop
Celebrate the K-pop artists of the decade at the K-pop flashback event, held by Spotify Indonesia over the weekend. Check out the installations of K-pop stars, sing-a-long, dance, take photos and do the makeover challenge and transform yourself as a member of the likes of BTS, BLACKPINK, Stray Kids, and (G)I-DLE. Word on the street is that the music streaming platform received special messages from boybands ATEEZ and Tomorrow X Together (TXT) to be played for their Indonesian fans attending the event. Moon Dance presents: Madison Mars
Ismaya’s SKYE Bar & Restaurants presents Moon Dance featuring Estonian DJ/producer Madison Mars. Born Madis Sillamo, the EDM DJ is known for tracks such as Ready or Not, My Feelings, or New Vibe Who Dis. Also performing at the party are Kenny Gabriel, W.W, and VJ Eyespinner.

An Elegant Evening with Nial Djuliarso and Emi Takada
Spend an elegant evening with award-winning Indonesian jazz pianist Nial Djuliarso and jazz singer Emi Takada this Saturday. The 38-year-old Nial was born in Jakarta, but lived and studied in the US for 20 years, receiving his bachelor’s degree from Berklee College of Music in 2004, artist diploma from renowned performing arts conservatory Juilliard School in 2006, and Master’s of Music Degree from New York University last year. Nial has performed in Carnegie Hall, Kennedy Center, and North Sea Jazz Festival, among others.
