Last weekend the geeks of Jakarta came together for Indonesian Comic Con, the capital’s biggest celebration of comic books, cartoons, movies, video games, toys and all things pop culture. As with comic cons across the world, a large percentage of attendees came dressed up in amazingly elaborate costumes to “cosplay” as their favorite fictional characters.
Even if you had the chance to make it out to ICC, it’s unlikely you caught all of the incredible cosplayers that came out to strut their stuff. Fortunately the Siluet Sore group already put together this music video featuring many of the coolest cosplays from last weekend.
Among the many incredible cosplays captured in this video are Joker and Harley Quinn (definitely two of the most popular characters among guests at this year’s ICC), Prince Joffrey and Margaery Tyrell from Game of Thrones (RIP), Iron Man, Batman, Black Canary, Hawkeye, Spider-man, Black Widow. TF2 Heavy and Gentleman Deadpool (plus tons of characters we don’t recognize but that’s just beccause we’re bad geeks – all the costumes are awesome). And a special shout out to the incredible Bajaeger builder at 4:42 – nice work Herbie 🙂
