We’re not sure if this is hilarious, sexy, or both.

Police Adjunct Commissioner (AKP) Tutu Mulyana is likely to be a huge name among the 15-minutes-of-famers in Indonesia soon, thanks to a viral video in which he busted some incredible moves that we’re frankly at a loss to describe at an official police event yesterday. Check it out in all its glory:

Tutu lost himself to the rhythm of the recent dangdut (a genre of Indonesian folk and traditional pop music) mega-hit “Jaran Goyang” by Nella Kharisma, which is about a girl who was betrayed by her partner and decided to cast a love spell on him (a common theme in many dangdut songs). Just to give some perspective on the song’s popularity and ubiquity these days, its music video on Youtube has been watched over 126 million times:

Tutu danced during a title handover ceremony in Cirebon, yesterday. At the event, Tutu was given the title of police chief of Kedawung District in Cirebon after having been transferred over from Ciwaringin District.

Could Tutu have been that happy about his new job, or was the dance his way of breaking the ice with his new subordinates?

We’re not sure how his fellow law enforcers felt about the performance, but the general public seems divided.

“In my opinion, this man dancing while wearing the uniform shows the humanist side of the police, who is one of the people and showed that he is a regular human being regardless of the clothes he wears, which some people fear,” wrote one commenter on the post above.

“Don’t you know that it’s hard to obtain the uniform and there need to be sacrifices made? Don’t use it in embarrassing situations,” wrote another.

In any case, could somebody please immortalize this guy into meme glory. We’re thinking he could be Indonesia’s answer to the David Brent dancing meme.
