Celebrity paranormalist and actor Ki Kusumo is one tough badass – at least, that’s what he wants people to believe.
If you’ve never heard of him before (we hadn’t before this story, to be honest), that’s probably because paranormalists generally only make the celebrity B-list, if at all. Ki Kusumo is probably best known as the guy who has repeatedly challenged another celebrity paranormalist, Demian Aditya, to a fight.
Well, it seems Ki Kusumo got to realize his manly wish to fight as he recently fought off a bunch of motorcyclists, as caught on this amateur video.
In an interview with Tempo, Ki Kusumo explained that he was driving in Kelapa Gading with his grandmother and three children on August 16. Out of nowhere, a group of 10 motorcyclists drove close to his car and knocked against his window, demanding that he pull over because his car apparently brushed against a motorcycle.
When he pulled over and got out of the car, one of the motorcyclists supposedly landed a sucker punch to Ki Kusumo’s face. He recalled that he fought back when the other motorcyclists looked like they were about to gang up on him.
“I dodged [their attacks], then I returned the punches to those who wanted to gang up on me,” he told Tempo today.
This is where things start to look extremely staged in the video. The fight scene played out like one of those old kung fu movies where each baddie falls after just one hit while the other baddies just stand back and watch.
If the motorcyclists were really pissed off, why didn’t they attack Ki Kusumo at the same time? Ten men will almost always beat one man in a fight (unless that man is Batman). Besides, the motorcyclists were all wearing helmets so it’s not like they had to worry about head injuries.
The more we watch the video, the more we’re sure that it was just a poorly executed publicity stunt. Well they say any publicity is good publicity, but if nobody is fooled by this video then Ki Kusumo’s haircut won’t be the only thing people will be laughing at.
