Now in its 15th year, JTCF has long been where the capital’s comic book fans, toy lovers and cosplayers have come together to celebrate their love of all things geeky. This year will bring the usual mix of guest creators, cosplay stars, costume competitions and tons of collectibles. You’ll also be able to find tons of cool comics and toys from local creators. For more info

Pork lovers can come pig out at Beer Garden SCBD this Saturday with over 10 special pork dishes to sample at this celebration of swine and brew. Among the pork specialists offering their dishes will Sate Babi Bawah Pohon, Panggangin, Warung Ce, Bakmie Liana and Madame Bebong! For more info.

Festival Sinema Australia Indonesia




Now in its fourth year, Festival Sinema Australia Indonesia (FSAI) aims to bring the best films of Australian and Indonesian cinema to audiences across the country. A wide selection films will be screened for free at this year’s festival, including a selection of shorts featured at Flickerfest, Australia’s world-renowned short film festival. Jamali Maddix Stand-up Comedy Tour  (Friday)


Jamali Maddix is an English stand-up comic known for his fearless comedy work, such as hosting a a documentary series in which he interviewed extremists from around the world to understand how they think. He’ll be performing at the American Club this Friday. Tickers Rp 350k. For more info

 

Indonesian Women Artists: Into The Future (Ends Saturday)This exhibition at Galeri Nasional features the works of 21 of Indonesia’s most exciting female artists.
