Was there space for Jack on that floating door? Forget Mythbusters and the fact that James Cameron himself recently conceded that the door should’ve been smaller — you will get the chance to make your own mind up when Titanic returns to Indonesian cinemas this month.

Remastered. In IMAX 3D format.

XXI and Cinépolis are among the Indonesian cinema chains who have listed Titanic for screenings starting Feb. 8. It’s not yet known how long the movie will stay in the cinemas, but the chains have noted that it will be available for a limited time only.

The movie has been classified for audiences aged 17 and above. However, knowing Indonesia’s stringent censorship, we wouldn’t be surprised if they cut out the entire scene in which Kate Winslet’s Rose asks Leonardo DiCaprio’s Jack to draw her like one of his French girls.

Titanic, directed by James Cameron, was released in January 1998. It became the highest grossing movie of all time until it was overtaken by Cameron’s other major hit, Avatar, which was released in 2009.

The remastered IMAX 3D version of Titanic is being released globally just before Valentine’s Day in celebration of the movie’s 25th anniversary.
