Tickets for Backstreet Boys’ Oct. concert in Jakarta go on sale today, prices range from IDR950K to IDR3.5 million

Jakartans eager to see the Backstreet Boys at their concert in the capital, prepare yourselves for the inevitable scramble for tickets online.

As announced by official ticket seller Traveloka, users of their app can purchase tickets for the October 26 concert during a 24-hour presale period, which started at 9am today. General sales will start at 10:30am tomorrow (May 10).

Ticket prices start at IDR950K (US$66) for free seating at the furthest section from the stage, to IDR3.5 million for VVIP tickets and a special fan zone up close to the stage. Prices are subject to tax and administration fee, and potential scalpers should take note that each ticket is personalized and tied to an official ID card, and is therefore not transferable.

The Backstreet Boys’ concert at JIExpo Kemayoran on October 26 will be their first in the Indonesian capital since 2008. This time around, the band is coming as part of their DNA World Tour in support of their latest album, DNA, which was released in January. While the tour will kick off in Las Vegas on April 10, the American quintet will also be hitting Tokyo, Osaka, Macau, Taipei, Manila, and Singapore.
