Actress Renata Kusmanto and her husband, actor Fachri Albar, just celebrated the birth of their very cute and healthy-looking baby boy. The only thing that has put a damper on the festivities is the inconvenient fact that their baby was born just five months after the two got married.
Most people would assume that the two actors, both in their early 30s, actually had sex before they got married (gasp!) and perhaps accidentally got pregnant before they were married (double gasp!).
But those people would be completely wrong. At least, according to Dewi Sri Astuti, the wife of Fachri’s brother Ahmad Albar. She insisted to Detik that the birth was simply moved up a bit from its scheduled date. She also said it’s the reason Renata had a cesarean section delivery.
“Indeed the birth was move forward. The schedule was moved up. If we wanted a normal delivery, they could have waited three weeks to a month,” Dewi said.
According to Dewi, the decision to undergo a caesarean section was based on the advice of a doctor. She said it was for the sake of the health of the baby and mother.
“The doctor suggested it would be better if we moved it forward, so as to avoid possible complications,” Dewi explained.
Dewi, of course, denied that Renata was pregnant before she married Fachri. “There’s nothing to hide anyway. I’ve told you everything, right?” she said diplomatically.
So see, there’s an explanation (we just didn’t say it would make any sense).
Fachri and Renata were married on June 12 at the Dharmawangsa Hotel in Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta. Their beautiful baby boy, named River Syech Albar, was born on November 21.
