“One Night in Bangkok Part 2” at E&O
Not only is E&O one of the best restaurants in town, with superlative Southeast Asian cuisine from Will Meyrick (the man behind Bali’s famed Sarong and Mama San), once in a while the lively eatery turns into a premiere party spot.
Tonight will be the second in E&O’s One Night in Bangkok” parties, their “annual celebration of the sizzling hot culinary scene and racy nightlife of the Thai capital.”. To kick the party up to Thai spicy levels, they’re bringing in Bangkok DJ Lom Soundstylist, diva of the Bangkok underground electronic music scene, and award-winning mixologist Thanutphol (Nath) Arj-Han of Bangkok’s famed Hyde and Seek gastropub.

Tigerlily at Dragonfly

Phunktion:100 at Soupanova Ecosky
The legendary drum ‘n’ bass party by Javabass Soundsystem, Phunktion is back for its 100th (!) edition. Legendary is an overused word, but Phunktion and Javabass have been going strong since 2000, making them the longest running monthly drum ‘n’ bass night in the city, so they’ve earned it.
This is also an excellent chance to check out Soupanova Ecosky if you haven’t yet – sister to a bar in Germany, Soupanova has a great rooftop venue and, if you’re in the mood, great German food to boot.

Space Ibiza 25 at Colosseum
Space Ibiza attempts to transport the energy and vibe of Spain’s party capital to the rest of the world and as part of the 25th Anniversary Tour they’re coming to Jakarta.
Heading up the Space Ibiza crew is their resident DJ, Colombian born Camilo Franco.
In tow is Danny Ávila, a Spanish electro house wunderkind who played at Coachella before the age of 19.

“Shivering Sensations” featuring Daddy’s Groove at Fable
Daddy’s Groove is an Italian DJ who has released numerous remixes and tracks that have topped the Beatport Top 100. He also joined Tomorrowland’s famous main stage last year with David Guetta.
They’re supposedly transforming the club into an “ice palace” for the event, so dress accordingly.

Moon Dance: Culoe De Song at Skye
Born in the northern parts of South Africa’s east coast, Culolethu Zulu, also known as “Culoe De Song”, began his musical career in early 2007 and has since become one of the continents hottest mixers, producing hits such as “Dwellers of the Jungle”, “Inspiration”, “100 Zulu Warriors” that take traditional African beats and modernize them for international audiences.
