K-pop fans can get super extra, but probably none can hold a candle to this Indonesian woman.
Yesterday, a woman from Bekasi, West Java named Elvira Budi Irena tweeted a photo of herself standing in front of a large billboard, showing that she had placed an ad in the large outdoor display in which she pleaded for her idol Minhyuk — whom she called ”Minhyuk Oppa” (oppa meaning “older brother” in Korean, a term used by a female to address an older male) — to notice her.
“PLEASE TWITTER DO YOUR MAGIC. Please, help make my billboard go viral so I can be noticed by my oppa… Dear Minhyuk Oppa, I’m from Indonesia, notice me please!” Elvira wrote in the tweet above.
There’s no word yet if Elvira has been noticed by her idol, but she certainly has been noticed by netizens in Indonesia. Her tweet has gone viral after having been retweeted more than 8,300 times and received 7,000 likes at the time of writing.
In a reply to one tweet, Elvira said the billboard is located near Metropolitan Mall in Bekasi, and it has become a source of amusement for people passing through the area.

That said, it’s unclear which Minhyuk from the K-pop world Elvira was referring to, as one netizen pointed out that there are at least nine idols with the same given name:
Mbakk saya mau bantu tag tapi ini minhyuk yang manaaa?? 😭😭😭😭😭 pic.twitter.com/fY2TxMZhpR

We have reached out Elvira to find out more about her billboard (we’re particularly interested in how much this sets her back) and find out which Minhyuk is her idol. We’ll update this story as soon as we get a reply.
