Have you ever fantasized about caking your face with Indomie seasoning without judgment from other members of society? Well, now you can, sort of, thanks to an unlikely crossover between the beloved instant noodle brand and a local purveyor of makeup.

TikTok user @karenkurniawan_kk recently posted a video review of a new makeup board from Indomie and Rabbit Habbit. She jokingly described the product as “Indomie-flavored makeup” but praised the instant noodle-themed shadow palette for their vibrant colors and great staying power.

@karenkurniawan_kk Pencinta Indomie wajib punyaa ! 🍜 #makeupviral #indomie #makeupindomie #makeupunik #makeuplucu #viralkan #viralin #fyp #foryoupage #foryoupageofficiall #fypシ゚viral #fypシ゚viral🖤tiktok #indomiegoreng #beauty101 ♬ 恭喜发财 – MY ASTRO

It turns out that the product is indeed real. After the review gained traction online, Indomie confirmed that it teamed up with Rabbit Habbit to launch the limited edition cosmetics to celebrate Indomie’s 50th anniversary in 2022.

“[The cosmetics] were inspired by Indomie soup and Indomie goreng,” PT Indofood Senior Brand Manager Cherie Anisa Nuraini told Kompas on Friday.

To be clear, the shadow pallete used by @karenkurniawan_kk only represent the colors of Indomie’s soup and goreng varieties, Cherie stressed, and that they do not smell of instant noodle seasonings at all.

The limited edition beauty products also include a sheet mask, which, thankfully, does not smell of food.

The beauty products were sold online when they were launched in December 2022 via Indomie’s official shop on Tokopedia. Now, online resellers are listing the limited edition goods starting from IDR840K (US$54.57) for the complete makeup set.
