Good news (possibly) for fans of what is arguably Indonesia’s most popular teen romantic flick ever, Ada Apa Dengan Cinta? (AADC).
Mira Lesmana, who produced AADC, teased fans with a possible sequel in a photo she posted on her Twitter account this morning.
As far as teasers go, this one looks pretty blatant and we’d be surprised if they don’t end up making the sequel to AADC. We especially love how Mira dotted underneath the ‘2’ to make it look like a question mark, as if she wants us to keep guessing.
Making a sequel to AADC just makes a lot of sense commercially. After all, the previous ‘mini-sequel’ to AADC – which was actually a really long commercial for instant messaging service Line – proved to be a massive hit with 5.5 million views so far on Youtube.
However neither Mira nor anyone else tied to the original AADC has confirmed the production of a full-on AADC sequel.
