As most of you probably remember, Lady Gaga was scheduled to do a big concert in Jakarta back in May 2012. However, the flamboyant pop musician was forced to cancel her show after the hardline Islamic Defenders Front (FPI), which called Gaga’s music “satanic,” made terrorist threats against both the musician and the fans attending her concert.
Lady Gaga was reportedly devastated that she was not able to perform for her “Little Monsters” in Jakarta and her inability to make peace with FPI. She apparently channeled those feelings into a song, titled “PARTYNAUSEOUS”
She decided to do the song as a collaboration with rapper Kendrick Lamar, and it was scheduled to appear on his 2012 album, “good kid, m.A.A.d city.”
However, disagreements between Lady Gaga and Kendrick’s management kept the song from appearing on the album.
But just yesterday, somebody on Soundcloud finally leaked the unreleased song. In it, you can hear Lady Gaga singing in the chorus about wanting to “get high with the enemy” and “make love with the enemy.”
Remember, in this case, the enemy she is specifically talking about is FPI.

This is actually not the first time the world has had a chance to hear PARTYNAUSEOUS. Lady Gaga used a very different version of the song as an interlude during her Artpop Ball tour in 2014.
In that version of the song you can hear her make more direct references to Jakarta and her cancelled concert here in the lyrics:
