Shinoda’s concert will be held at D2 Hall JIExpo Kemayoran on September 4. He will also be hitting Taipei on August 31 and Manila on September 6 as part of his Post Traumatic Tour, named after the EP and album he released last year.
As confirmed by his Jakarta concert organizer, Widelanes, Shinoda will perform his “upbeat and pain-stricken” songs from Linkin Park, hip hop side project Fort Minor, as well as songs from Post Traumatic.

Shinoda will bring along British rock band Don Broco as the tour’s special guests. Tickets will go on sale starting at 10am on June 30 for members of the Linkin Park Underground (LPU) official fan club, while public sales will commence on July 1 at 10am Jakarta time. Details about the concert can be found on Mike Shinoda’s official website.
Shinoda previously visited Jakarta with Linkin Park in 2004 and 2011. The Post Traumatic EP was released in January of last year — six months after the death of his bandmate Chester Bennington, Linkin Park’s frontman. The full album with the same title was released in June and was met with generally positive reviews from critics.
