Irish rock band Kodaline certainly has a lot of fans in Indonesia, but they reserved a special shout out to a group of students who performed a very rousing cover of their song, All I Want, by reposting the video on their official Instagram account.

In their post, Kodaline was full of praise for the students as well as the teacher for teaching them their music. The video was initially posted by Tri Adinata, a music teacher in an Islamic middle school in the North Sumatra capital of Medan.

Tri himself seems like one super dedicated music teacher, and a pretty popular one at that as well, having over 28K followers on Instagram. He usually posts his own covers of popular songs, or videos of his students covering songs by the likes of Iwan Fals or Calum Scott.

Tri has also had his share of viral fame before, helping one of his students compete in The Voice Kids Indonesia as well as being featured in mainstream media reports for having his students perform viral covers of popular religious songs.

Kodaline seems to be aware that there are many like Tri who love their music in Indonesia. The quartet even shot a music video on the streets of Jakarta in 2017, in which they walked through a Buddhist temple and a traditional market while being greeted by fans.

Kodaline has performed in Indonesia three times so far — in 2016, 2017 and earlier this month — but we’re sure they’ll be back by popular demand.
