ReVeluvs and NCTZens, it won’t be too long until you can see your faves in the flesh, as Red Velvet and NCT Dream have been confirmed to headline the Allo Bank Festival on Friday, May 20 to Sunday, May 22, 2022.

Taking place at Istora Senayan, Central Jakarta, the festival is set to be the grand launching event for digital lender Allo Bank, which was formerly known as PT Bank Harda International (BHI). The bank was acquired by Mega Corpora in March 2021 and officially changed its name in June of the same year.

Performances at Allo Bank Festival are divided into two categories, namely Special Show and Outdoor Show. NCT Dream will be performing on Friday’s Special Show along with local headliners such as Kahitna and Raisa; while Red Velvet will take the stage on Friday alongside Padi Reborn, Bunga Citra Lestari (BCL), and Krisdayanti featuring her daughter Amora, among others.

On Sunday, there will be intimate concerts featuring local favorites, namely .Feast, Mocca, Barasuara, Fourtwnty, and RAN.

Over at the Outdoor Show, you can enjoy performances by local artists from various genres, including Kunto Aji, Nadin Amizah, Pamungkas, Maliq & D’Essentials, D’Masiv, Sal Priadi, and Diskoria. There will also be the standard booths catering food and other activities at the venue.

The catch is that you have to become an Allo Bank customer if you want to buy tickets. After downloading the Allo Bank app on the App Store or Google Play Store, you have to upgrade your account to Allo Prime if you want to go to all of the events, including the Special Show.

Ticket sales will open this Saturday at 10am on Detik’s event page, where you can buy your Special Show ticket for IDR100,000 each. If you’re not going to the main event, you’ll only need to pay IDR1,000 on the spot to enter the festival per day. More information about the Allo Bank Festival, including details on ticketing and the daily rundown, can be found here.

Red Velvet debuted in 2014 under K-pop label SM Entertainment with their first single Happiness. Back then, they had four members, namely leader Irene, Seulgi, Wendy, and Joy, before their fifth, Yeri, joined the group in 2015. The group has been known for their contrasting music and image, with “red” representing their vibrant image and catchy pop songs, while “velvet” showcases their mature and elegant image with R&B and ballad tracks. Occasionally, they have been experimenting with other genres over the years.

The quintet’s latest releases are EPs titled The ReVe Festival 2022 – Feel My Rhythm in March and Queendom in August of last year, as well as Bloom, their first Japanese studio album (or third overall) in early April.

NCT Dream debuted in 2016 with a single titled Chewing Gum. They were intended as the teenage unit of NCT (Neo Culture Technology), with the members’ age averaging at 15.6 years old at that time. The group has no official leader, though the oldest member Mark has been referred to as the leader or captain by his groupmates.

Additionally, Mark had “graduated” from NCT Dream as he turned 19 before returning to the group, as the graduation system of the subunit was eliminated. After successful comebacks last year with their first full-length album Hot Sauce and its repackaged album Hello Future, NCT Dream returned in March with their second full album Glitch Mode and are currently gearing up for their comeback on May 30 for their repackaged version of the album titled Beatbox.
