Relatively older fans of K-pop in Indonesia are in for a treat, because the iconic boyband Super Junior has been confirmed to play a show in Jakarta (well, technically Tangerang Regency) next month.

Concert promoter Mecimapro today announced that SuJu’s 10 members are set to play at ICE BSD City on Sept. 17 as part of the group’s Super Show 9 world tour.

Ticketing details have yet to be released as of this article’s publication.

Indonesian fans will surely be hoping that the group arrives in Indonesia as a complete set. After all, it has just been reported that Choi Siwon is unable to perform in the Manila leg of the world tour today after the heartthrob tested positive for COVID-19. Of course, he will very likely have recovered from the disease by Sept. 17.

SuJu is among several major K-pop groups that has been around for a while and maintains close relationships with Indonesia and its fans. The boyband has held numerous concerts in the country, and the members have visited Indonesia both for individual trips or as a group.

Siwon — one of SuJu’s most popular members — even became the brand ambassador for instant noodle brand Mie Sedaap’s line of Korean-inspired noodles.
