An Indonesian woman has gone viral after opening up about her toning down, glowing up journey, during which she went from 115 kilograms to 63 kilograms.

Mia Risalinda, who goes by @mionggggg10 on TikTok, has been posting a series of videos documenting her 52-kilogram weight loss journey. In one video that has gone viral, she wrote, “Wanted to lose 30 kg to make my ex regret leaving me, but I went further and lost 50 kg.”

In her other videos, Mia said she was “tired” of being obese and was determined to transform her life. She recalled being bullied and fat-shamed when she was in high school.

Mia outlined some of the steps she took as part of her weight loss regimen, including achieving a calorie deficit daily, drinking enough fluids, avoiding junk food, boosting protein intake, cutting out sugar and rice, and, of course, regular exercise.

“To all women out there who are like me, you are strong, you are great, you can do all of this as long as you stay consistent,” she said.

Mia has not said how long she took to shed all the kilos. At any rate, her story serves as an inspiration to lead a healthy lifestyle, and that the glow up that comes with that is just a welcome bonus.
