Singer Mike Mohede, who shot to fame after winning the second season of singer search competition Indonesian Idol, passed away yesterday at the age of 32.
Indra Djamal, Mike’s manager, told the media that Mike passed away in his home in Bintaro, South Tangerang.
“[Mike] passed away at around 6pm while he was sleeping,” Indra said, as quoted by Bintang.
According to information that’s been spreading among Mike’s musician peers, Mike died after suffering from a heart attack.
“I got news that he (Mike) suffered a heart attack and is still in hospital now,” said Rini Wulandani, also an Indonesian Idol winner, as quoted by Kompas.
