Those into the capital’s party scene should be familiar with the names DJ Una, DJ Yasmin, and DJ Varra, arguably the most famous Indonesian female DJs around right now.
Recognition for the three talented DJs has extended beyond our shores as they were recently named in DJanemag.com’s list of top 100 DJanes (which is a silly, nonsensical word to describe female DJs, so we’ll stop using it from here on out) in 2015.
Putri Una AKA DJ Una was the highest ranked Indonesian female DJ, clocking in at number 29. DJ Yasmin was ranked considerably lower than Una at 53, while DJ Varra ranked 58th.
