Ray Sahetapy as Rama in ‘The Raid’
You may remember Ray Sahetapy as the brutal but brilliant crime lord Tama from legendary Indonesian action flick The Raid, but soon Ray will be recognized as the first Indonesian actor to appear in a Marvel superhero movie, specifically Captain America: Civil War.
The rumors began when a photo circulated online showing Ray suiting up for a role in the movie:
58-year-old Ray confirmed his involvement in the upcoming Captain America movie, but he’s being tight-lipped about his role.
“I can’t say anything before filming starts,” Ray told Vivanews yesterday.
We think Ray would make a kick ass villain for Captain America. He gave superhuman Iko Uwais such a hard time in The Raid, surely Captain America shouldn’t be a problem.
The third installment in the Captain America movies, Civil War is set for release in May 2016.
