American electronic dance singer Lauv is the first artist announced for the upcoming Jakarta music festival GudFest, which will be held from Nov. 18-20.

GudFest is making a return this year for its sophomore edition. The inaugural event of the annual festival was held in 2019, bringing in the likes of iKON, New Hope Club, and Zion T along with numerous local musicians. Organizers shelved plans for the 2020 and 2021 festivals due to the pandemic.

This morning, GudFest announced Lauv as the first and only artist so far for its 2022 lineup. The event promises more names to be announced soon.

GudFest tickets, which start from IDR965K for a presale package, can be purchased from Tiket.com. The festival will be held at the Madya Stadium in Senayan.

Lauv, famous for the hit singles I Like Me Better and whose new album All 4 Nothing is set to drop on Aug. 4, headlined the Java Jazz Festival in Jakarta in 2018.

The following year, he had to cancel a show in the capital due to post-election unrest concerns. Another planned concert in 2020 was postponed indefinitely due to the pandemic.
