Jakarta, you know you want it that way: one more iconic ‘90s boy band have been confirmed to perform in our beloved capital this year. After their first concert back in 2008, Backstreet Boys have quit playing games with your heart and will be back in Jakarta on October 26.
In a video posted this morning, Backstreet Boys heartthrobs (yes, even decades after the height of their fame) AJ McLean, Brian Littrell, Howie Dorough, Nick Carter and Kevin Richardson confirmed an Asian leg of their world tour, which will include a stop in Jakarta.
The band is going on the DNA World Tour in support of their latest album, DNA, which was released in January. While the tour will kick off in Las Vegas on April 10, the American quintet will also be hitting Tokyo, Osaka, Macau, Taipei, Manila, and Singapore. At the moment, ticket prices and venue for the Jakarta concert are yet to be confirmed.

Backstreet Boys are likely going to perform their past hits such as As Long As You Love Me, I Want It That Way, Everybody, and Quit Playing Games. One of the latest hits off DNA, Don’t Go Breaking My Heart, will probably remind you that all this time, you’ve been missing their dance numbers and the close-up shots of the members.
In the meantime, let’s go down memory lane while waiting for more information on their Jakarta concert:
