Too bad for all of you fans of Chris Brown, the best-selling R&B artist best known for beating up his ex-girlfriend Rihanna.
Brown was scheduled to play a concert here in Jakarta this Saturday night. But just a few hours ago he announced on his Twitter account that the concert was being rescheduled due to “safety concerns.”
The concert’s promoter, E-Motion Entertainment, has not yet revealed what the safety concerns mentioned in the tweet are or given any specific reasons for the cancellation.
“We can not be sure. Because currently there are internal meetings related to the concert. Eventually we will explain through an official statement,” said Iren, secretary for E-Motion Entertainment CEO Arnold J Limasnax, as quoted by Suara.
This is actually the third time Brown has cancelled a scheduled concert in Jakarta, following similar incidences in 2011 and 2013. Frankly, we hope he never makes it here.
