The people behind the indie-powered Joyland Festival are putting on another musical extravaganza this Sunday. The free event, called Fesitval Seperlima, is being organized in conjunction with Hivos, the international development organisation, to “encourage young people in appreciating the differences that occurs in everyday life.”
Sounds like a great cause, but what you really want to know is who will be playing, right? Well the Joyland team has rounded up a killer lineup of some of the Jakarta’s indie music scene’s best acts, including SORE, Dialog Dini Hari, Luky Annash, Tika & The Dissidents, Risky Summerbee & the Honeythief, Zeke Khaseli, Angsa dan Serigala, Harlan, Polka Wars, Witches, and Folkagogo. If you have any interest in the local music scene, this one is pretty must a must-attend.
In addition to the awesome music, Festival Seperlima will also include open-air cinema and a bazaar, amongst other attractions.
