She didn’t exactly break the internet, but Siskaeee, one of the most popular adult content creators in Indonesia, has at least crashed servers with her adult film debut.

In case you’re out of the loop, producing and publishing porn is illegal in Indonesia, yet adult content creators like Siskaeee have been self-posting NSFW content through various platforms whether for kink, profit, or both.

Siskaeee was arrested in late 2021 over an exhibitionism video taken at the Yogyakarta International Airport. She was released in July 2022, after which she resumed creating risqué content.

None was as highly anticipated, it seems, as her adult film debut on a new paid video platform called Kelas Bintang. As we have learned through research, the platform has put out dozens of NSFW movies since 2022 and, surprisingly, has not faced any legal repercussions thus far (the lack of explicit nudity or sex scenes in their movies may explain why).

On April 21, Kelas Bintang posted Kramat Tunggak starring Siskaeee as a sex worker finding her way in the titular location – a now-defunct infamous Jakarta red light district.

Detik reported that the movie’s release, along with a Lebaran holiday promo, caused the Kelas Bintang website to temporarily crash as it struggled to handle the traffic load.

“I was optimistic [that the movie would] explode. And we saw that it crashed the servers, she said.

“With acting, I wanted to try something new. The movie tells the story of me as a prostitute who finds the light and wants to repent, but is held back by life’s struggles.”

Does Kelas Bintang represent the dawn for a more sex-positive Indonesia? Well, it’s more likely that the platform had slipped under the authorities’ radar, and it may now face a reckoning as it rises in prominence thanks to Siskaeee and other adult film actresses.

In fact, CNBC Indonesia reported today that some internet service providers have begun blocking access to Kelas Bintang.
