Get embraced by the beats of world #1 DJ Armin van Buuren (Friday night)

If you know anything about house and trance music, then you already know who Armin van Buuren is. He has been ranked the No. 1 DJ in the world by DJ Mag five times and been nominated for a Grammy Award for his hit single “This Is What It Feels Like”.

The legendary Dutch DJ is playing Jakarta Friday night as part of his “Armin Only Embrace” world tour, and although the big draw is, of course, a solo set by Mr. van Buuren, there will also be live performances from many of the artists he collaborated with on his latest album, “Embrace,” such as Mr. Probz, Kensington, Eric Vloeimans, Cimo Fränkel, Betsie Larkin, Angel Taylor and BullySongs.

The action starts at JIExpo Kemayoran at 6pm. For more info and tickets

By inviting four artists/designers from Jakarta and Bandung, the public has the opportunity not only to learn about slow fashion in general, but more importantly to see how interesting it has become in the hands of these artists/designers through live demonstrations with Q&A’s. Some of the final results and products using these techniques will also be available for sale. For more info.
