Wear a full-body Zentai suit and walk around Taman Ismail Marzuki, for some reason… (Sunday)

Okay, to be honest, this one strikes us as more weird than cool, but it’s definitely interesting. So, Zentai are basically these skin-tight garments, usually made from nylon or spandex, that cover your entire body, including your face. People seem to wear them for all sorts of reasons, everything from showing spirit at sports games to animation and art projects. The “Zentai Walk Jakarta” is more the latter, as it is being organized by the Zentai Art Project collective.

“Zentai Walk Jakarta” is taking place at Taman Ismail Marzuki this Sunday and the actual walking potion of the event will take place from 2pm to 5:30. They will be loaning out Zentai for free and providing areas where you can change and lockers where you can keep your valuables. There will also be a performance art piece after the walk. The event is supported by the Jakarta Arts Council. For more info.
