Now in its 7th year, the biggest dance music festival in Indonesia has attracted many of the biggest DJs on the planet to be a part of this year’s incredible lineup. And that’s no exaggeration, many of the headliners, such as Armin Van Buuren and Tiësto, both of whom have been named #1 DJ in the world by DJ Magazine multiple times. With other amazing acts including Major Lazer and the first Asian appearance of Skrillex and Diplo’s joint project Jack Ü, anybody with any interest in EDM needs to be at JI Expo this weekend. A musical legend of a different sort will be performing tonight. Noah, the new name of the band formed by Ariel after he got out of prison for his infamous celebrity sex tape case, will be performing at Foundry 8 tonight as part of Global TV’s Afterhours Music Program. If you like alternative pop rock or just want to gawk at Indonesia’s most famous sex criminal, the gig starts at 7pm and tickets are Rp 250k.

Mama Rosy is generally considered one of Jakarta’s best Italian restaurants and the monthly “Notte Mediterranea” event shows why people love it so much.
