You must’ve heard or taken part in the latest internet fad, the #10YearChallenge, but if you you’ve been under a rock with poor wifi , here’s a quick explanation: the meme challenges people to post side-by-side pictures of themselves from 2009 and 2019, with a caption that casually brags or drags about how much you’ve changed.
Just like us ordinary folks, many Indonesian celebrities have done the #10YearChallenge, but, unlike a lot of us, a lot of them look like they’ve barely aged at all. You can chalk it up to hitting the genetic jackpot or putting in a ton of effort to keep themselves youthful, but, either way, here are 10 local celebs whose #10YearChallenge posts prove they’re practically ageless.

The nation’s sweetheart, Dian Sastrowardoyo, posted a #10YearChallenge photo featuring shots taken from two of her films, Drupadi (2008) and the first Indonesian Netflix original, The Night Comes For Us (2018).
Maia Estianty
It’s hard to believe that singer, songwriter, and entrepreneur Maia Estianty is 42. She posted comparison pic of herself from 2008 and 2018. “With the same makeup artist and same hairstylist,” she highlighted in the caption.

Sandra Dewi
Model and actress Sandra Dewi also joined the challenge by posting one picture from 2009, when she was a TV host, alongside another taken this year, in which she mainly travels abroad and endorses products. “Everyone said I was prettier in 2009. Well, obviously, I was still slim and single and now I’m a mother. My skin isn’t lighter now, it’s because today’s cameras are so good and we only had oldie camera phones back in the day,” Sandra wrote in the caption.

Ashanty (the singer who doesn’t seem to mind publicly shaming her androgynous nephew) wrote in her caption that she only weighed 48 kg 10 years ago. Since then she has fixed her teeth as well as, changed her hairstyle and makeup look. All the work seems worth it as she still looks great.
