Hathim Firmansyah bin Ademan, an Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) member who was named a suspect for inciting an anarchic anti-Ahok protests some time ago, will never have to answer for his crime as he passed away today.
Hathim passed away at around 2am this morning at the Kramat Jati Police Hospital in East Jakarta.
His funeral will be held at his hometown in Cirabat, West Java, this afternoon.
“His body was taken [to the funeral] by 150 FPI members,” said FPI Secretary Ja’far Sidiq, as quoted by Vivanews today.
Ja’far said that Hathim has not been feeling well for a while. Hathim even soiled himself in court during his trial two days ago.
