Popular steakhouse chain Steak Hotel by HOLYCOW! is celebrating their 12th anniversary, and they’re partnering with three public figures to represent three different wagyu dishes in a campaign called Steak Fighter, as well as introducing a new premium menu.
The public figures are celebrity chef and host Martin Natadipraja, who represents Wagyu Tenderloin; popular mukbang YouTuber Bara Ilham Bakti Perkasa AKA Tanboy Kun for the Wagyu Sirloin Steak; and comedian Muhadkly Acho for the Wagyu Rib Eye Steak.
“As a form of our appreciation to our loyal customers, we’re launching the ‘Steak Fighter’ campaign this year collaborating with three influencers who are well-known to the public to represent the three classic wagyu steak menu items that have been customers’ favorites since the beginning of our restaurant,” Wynda Mardio, Steak Hotel by HOLYCOW! founder, said in a statement.
You can participate in the Steak Fighter campaign by ordering your favorite steak from one of those three “fighters” until June 30 in a chance to win prizes, including a paid holiday to your dream domestic destination for four days and three nights, with more details available here.
Steak Hotel by HOLYCOW! is also celebrating its anniversary to introduce a new Premium Selection lineup. Curated directly by their founder Wynda Mardio, the menu consists of the flavorful Australian Wagyu MB 4-5 in tenderloin, rib eye, and sirloin cuts with prices starting from IDR289,000++ before taxes.
Wynda said that as a pioneer of local steakhouses, they have been “grateful and proud” to serve and present a variety of quality wagyu steaks at affordable prices for twelve years.
“This is not an easy achievement, especially when facing a very challenging pandemic situation for culinary industry players. Therefore, we continue to adapt and innovate in providing the best culinary services and products for our customers.”
The steakhouse chain, which has often been credited with introducing wagyu beef to the masses since they first opened in 2010, started out with a humble roadside tent in Radio Dalam, South Jakarta. Holycow founders split in 2012, resulting in two competing but similar steakhouse chains: Steak Hotel by HOLYCOW! under the Bhadranaya Group, and Holycow! Steakhouse by Chef Afit.
As of today, Steak Hotel by HOLYCOW! has 15 outlets — which they refer to as “TKP” or “Tempat Karnivora Pesta” (the carnivores’ party spot) — in the Greater Jakarta Area and other major Indonesian cities including Bandung, Semarang, and Pekanbaru.
