After having opened their private dining experience, Oma Elly on 56, and a gelateria-slash-pizzeria in North Jakarta’s PIK, Italian cuisine specialists Oma Elly has added Nonna Bona to their existing repertoire.
Described as a “classic Italian steakhouse,” Nonna Bona only opened its doors at Ashta earlier this month. The restaurant serves a selection of dry aged beef, including the striploin (IDR1.95 million per kg), rib eye (IDR2.25 million per kg), tomahawk (IDR2.65 million per kg), and Bistecca alla Fiorentina or beefsteak Florentine style (IDR2.75 million per kg).
The steaks are served with a selection of gorgonzola or salsa verde sauces, and you can choose your preferred sides such as asparagus and parmesan, fried polenta, and mac and cheese, among others — with prices ranging from IDR65,000 to IDR95,000.
Aside from the dry aged steaks, there are also antipasti (starters) featuring dishes such as Bresaola and Arugula (IDR185,000), Polpo Olio di Oliva (IDR165,000), and Seared Foie Gras (IDR368,000); secondi (mains) with items such as Roasted Rosemary Chicken and Sea Bass Puttanesca (IDR185,000 each); as well as Oma Elly’s famous pastas and pizzas.
While there is quite a vast selection of cocktails and liquors, the steakhouse is pork-free, just like any other Oma Elly establishments. Prices listed above are before tax and charges.
