Talk of booster shots is common these days, and many of us who have gotten the full dose of our COVID-19 jabs are now eyeing our third. While we patiently wait for everyone to get their chance at a full vax first, there’s another booster you can get in town in the form of kombucha.

Gulp Indonesia, a newcomer to Jakarta’s growing kombucha scene amid the pandemic, is offering a COVID-19-themed drink series called the Pandemonium Vaxx.

There are three puntastic flavors you can try, namely Ginovac, Astra Zenecha, and Pfizour. The Ginovac is a ginseng-inspired drink with a sweet and fruity tea-like after taste, which Gulp said is good for when you’re low on energy. Pfizour’s sour flavor comes from lime juice with a hint of sweetness of coconut water, and Astra Zenecha will refresh your palate and body with passion fruit and mint.

Gulp claims that its kombucha drinks are made without preservatives and artificial flavors. While the fizzy and refreshing taste of kombucha is addicting and jam-packed with benefits for your body, the Pandemonium Vaxx drinks are not actual vaccines, obviously, and you still need to get the real deal for a proper immunity against the viral disease.

For IDR135,000 (US$9.46), you can get a set consisting of the three kombucha flavors in 280ml bottles and a card, with the design inspired by Indonesia’s COVID-19 vaccine e-certificate. As for now, Gulp Indonesia only accepts pre-orders on its Tokopedia page.
