Who’s up for some oat milk es kopi (iced latte)?
Es kopi chain Janji Jiwa and Singaporean oat milk brand Oatside have teamed up for a line of vegan drinks comprising Aren Oat Latte, Earl Grey Oat Latte, and Matcha Oat Latte.
On their Instagram page, Janji Jiwa wrote that the Oatside collaboration drinks are available nationwide starting today, which prompted us to order the three of them almost immediately through our trusted online food delivery service.

The new drinks cost IDR27,000 for the regular-sized Aren and Earl Grey Oat Latte and IDR28,000 for the Matcha Oat Latte — though they’re now on promo for IDR18,000 and IDR19,000, respectively.
As for our verdict, we thought that Oatside’s oat milk, which boasts a creamy texture and malty flavor, goes well with Janji Jiwa’s es kopi blend and the milk teas. If you’re vegan or vegetarian, or simply have been looking for a tasty plant-based alternative, then Janji Jiwa X Oatside drinks are a great option.
Oatside appears to be riding on the wave of oat milk’s steady domination for coffee-based drinks in the local F&B scene. While Oatside might have only been around since late last year in Indonesia, and was only officially launched earlier this year, it appears that they’re moving fast to be the alternative milk of choice at local coffee shops.
