If you or the people around you are self-isolating at home after being diagnosed with COVID-19, you might understand that rotating the menu everyday could be quite tricky — especially when you’re in no condition to be moving around the house as much as usual.
Worry not, as Indonesian Japanese fast-food chain HokBen (formerly known as Hoka-Hoka Bento) has just launched meal packages for those who are self-isolating at home. Aptly named Paket Isoman (isolasi mandiri, Indonesian for self-isolation), you can choose from the chain’s three, five, or seven-day packages.

In their bento boxes, you can expect HokBen’s classic dishes such as chicken and beef teriyaki or yakiniku, egg chicken roll, as well as selections of soups such as chicken tofu soup and shrimp dumpling soup.
Prices range from IDR90,910 for the three-day package, to IDR136,364 for the five-day package, to IDR190,910 for seven-day package — all for one meal per day and including delivery fee. The prices listed are before taxes and charges.
In case anyone asks: no, you don’t have to be isolating with COVID-19 to be able to buy the meals. Did you think that HokBen would swab you upon delivery of every meal?
