The American frat boy tradition known as beer pong has slowly made its way around the world and has now become a thing in Jakarta. In fact, this Nov. 22 is the date of Pizza e Birra’s 11th Beer Pong Tournament.
This year teams will be competing for Rp. 20 million in prizes, including products and cold hard cash. All you have to do to get the loot is be really good at throwing a ping-pong ball into a plastic cup. Well, it’s a little more complicated than that – check out this video full of silly Australians for a quick crash course on the rules:
Registration is now open for the tournament. You must register in teams of two people and the cost is Rp. 200,000, which includes one Bintang and one Bintang Radler. You can register at any Pizza e Birra outlet, although the big showdown is taking place at the Gandaria City Outlet.
