While most Jakartans don’t celebrate Halloween, for a select few the haunted holiday is a rare occasion to put on a costume and let their inner party monsters out. Much of the Halloween action is taking place this Friday and Saturday but a few are holding back until the true All Hallows Eve on Wednesday, October 31. Here are our picks for what we predict will be the coolest costume parties in the capital — if you know of any others let us know in the comments below.

Friday night’s haunting will feature a special performance by Derina Derin and T-Sha while Saturday night will see Sky Garden mainstay Sophie Visser spin the decks along with a show by the Eyecandy Dancers. Yes, the guy who played Hodor in Game of Thrones, Kriastian Nairn, is not only known as an actor in the hit fantasy series but also a surprisingly great DJ. He’ll be getting his Rave of Thrones on at The Pallas’ Saturday night Halloween party (he’s also appearing at this weekend’s Indonesia Comic-Con).
