If you’ve ever wanted to check out Indonesia’s young entrepreneur scene, the annual LocalFest is a good place to start. Every year, some of the country’s hippest and most creative young minds converge at the festival to showcase whatever’s trending at the time.
This year, LocalFest returns for its fourth year with local creators putting their own unique twists on food, fashion, and art. Among the food stalls scheduled to appear at the festival, names like ‘Martabak Brownies JKT’, ‘Euphoric Juice’ and ‘Bakso Keju’ sound really intriguing and possibly very yummy.
We’re also eager to check out the numerous local fashion brands at the festival. These brands usually offer cool designs that stand out from what you can find at the shopping malls.
To top it all off, there will be performances from some of Indonesia’s hottest indie bands, including Mocca, Payung Teduh, and Efek Rumah Kaca (AKA Indonesia’s Radiohead).
