A Hong Kong police officer left her gun in a shopping mall toilet at Tai Kok Tsui Saturday afternoon.

Police received a report around 4:50 pm that a pistol had been found in a women’s toilet stall at Metro Harbor Plaza, located near the West Kowloon Disciplined Services Quarters.

Initial investigation found that the gun belonged to a female police officer who reported her gun missing less than an hour ago.

Police arrived at the mall and sealed off the toilet, where they recovered the misplaced revolver.
