Hooters’ plans for Hong Kong have fallen flat.

The beer-and-wings “breastaurant” in Central is, yet again, facing eviction over unpaid rent and rates, the SCMP reports.

The venue’s landlord, the Dor Fook Company, has gone to court in a bid to evict the US restaurant chain, claiming it has failed to pay some HK$1.52 million (US$194,300) in rents and rates for its Wyndham Street location since October.

It’s the second time the chain, known for its attractive scantily-dressed waitresses, has faced eviction at the LKF site.

The landlord pursued similar legal action in September over three months of unpaid rent amounting to HK$1.3 million (US$166,200).

According to the SCMP, that sum was paid though the owner could not be reached to comment on the outstanding amount.

The restaurant in 2015 announced aggressive moves to expand into Asia.

According to the writ seen by the SCMP, Hooters signed a 10-year lease in 2016 for the ground floor venue and a five-year lease for a room upstairs.
