Bali: 14th cheapest destination for beer in the world, 2015 Beer Price Index

If you’re living and working on a local wage, beer may not seem that cheap in Indonesia, but for many from around the world, Bali’s a great place to hydrate with beer since it’s apparently got some of the cheapest prices around the world.

According to the 2015 Beer Price Index, Bali is the 14th cheapest destination for beers in the world and ranks number three in Southeast Asia.

The index, made by travel search site GoEuro cites the average price for a 330 ml of beer in Bali as $1.35 in the supermarket and $3 as the average price of a 330 ml beer at the bar.

We’re guessing the price of Bintang pretty much sets these stats.

Where does Bali stack up against the cheapest beer destination in the world? Krakow snagged spot number one on the Beer Price Index, with the average price of a 330 ml beer in a supermarket at $0.62 and $2.70 as the average price for a 330 ml beer in a bar.
