A detailed autopsy report about a woman whose death invited scrutiny of Thailand’s models-for-hire industry has finished and was being presented to her family this afternoon.
Family members of Thitim “Bell” Noraphanpiphat arrived at about 2pm to the King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital’s forensic department to receive the detailed report on the 25-year-old’s tragic death late last month.
“We will likely learn specifics like her time of death and the cause of abrasions in her pelvis area today,” an attorney for the Noraphanpiphat family, Namonchai Dechapakorn, told reporters outside the hospital before receiving the report. He added that it would be the first time the family spoke to the forensic doctors.
The attorney refused to discuss any further details and urged reporters to wait for a police briefing that might come later this week.
