The mercury keeps rising in Thailand, causing the first reported heat stroke death occurring yesterday in Buriram province.

With every day feeling hotter than the last, the kingdom’s meme-smiths have dug deeper into their basements to do what they do best: complain about it in gif form.

Bangkok is hitting 38C today while other parts of the realm have been sweating it out at temperatures exceeding 40C. From literally melting into the pavement to relocating the country to fiery latitudes, the internet has found many creative ways to scream “it’s too damn hot” accompanied by trending hashtags such as #ItsSoHotIhavetoBegForMyLife #SoFuckingHot and #WhyIsItThisHot.

Here are some of the best.

To end on a cooler note, Applemeppo imagines a Thai winter wonderland, aka, a world where everyone would be complaining about how cold it is.

Fun aside, stay cool, stay hydrated and remember that heat stroke is real and can be potentially fatal if not quickly treated. And, again, keep in mind our cutest and vulnerable residents are also falling ill and dying.
