Be prepared, bookworms. Tons and tons of books are coming your way.
A festival for the bibliophiles of Bangkok, the Big Bad Wolf Festival, is making a return to the Thai capital next month.
The festival promises more than a million Thai and English language books, with discounts of up to 95%.
Festivities will include a Dino Play Space by Plan Toys for kids with workshops and storytelling, board games, cooking, forums, and meet-and-greets with writers.
The warehouse book sale claims to be the world’s largest book sale. Founded by a book-loving couple Andrew Yap and Jacqueline Ng, its first event took place in 2009 in Malaysia’s Selangor before spreading to many other countries such as Indonesia, Philippines, Myanmar, South Korea, the United Arab Emirates and Pakistan.
Big Bad Wolf came to Thailand for the first time in 2016 with more than two million books.
The Big Bad Wolf Festival this year will be held from 10am through midnight from Dec. 7 until Dec. 18 at the Impact Forum (Hall 4), Muang Thong Thani.
