Mark your calendar, kids. We finally know when America’s favorite “Mexican” fast food chain (and admitted guilty pleasure) is opening their first store in Thailand: Jan. 24.

Months after we heard that Thoresen Thai Agencies, the same Thai company that imported Pizza Hut into the country, had acquired the Taco Bell license, the company last night posted its launch date on the Facebook page Taco Bell Thailand.

As Coconuts Bangkok previously reported, Taco Bell’s first location will be at Mercury Ville, the mall standing at the foot of BTS Chidlom station.

The store is taking over a good-sized space that used to be Harrods Cafe, located right at the entrance of the tower.

First opened in 1962 in Downey, California, Taco Bell now has about 7,000 franchises across the world. It first entered the Asia market by launching in China in 2003.
