A woman who career jumped from bank work to the scandalous world of drug dealing was arrested on April 14 in North Bali.
Luh Mei Sugiarsini, 28, a resident of Kaliuntu Village, Buleleng was arrested for possession of narcotics, reports Tribun Bali. Upon searching her, police reportedly found 10 packages of meth, four of them weighing about 0.31 grams, with the other six weighing about 0.25 grams each.
Along with the drugs, police reportedly found drug paraphernalia in Sugiarsini’s room: three glass bongs and a gas lighter (because clearly lighters can only be used for lighting up drugs).
Sugiarsini used to work at a bank, but she but left her life on the straight and narrow behind in favor of dealing drugs, because she had been using at work and her proximity to drugs encouraged her to become a dealer, according to Tribun. This was also reportedly because drugs aren’t cheap and she had to find a way to pay for her fix.
Last year, Sugiarsini resigned from the bank and ended up developing a network in her hometown region, Buleleng, police told Tribun. Police are currently continuing their investigation.
